The Wonder of a Sleeping Mask with Sea Buckthorn

A note from Shlomit Heller, founder of Shlomit Skin Ecology and licensed esthetician since 1991.
As I write my second Intelligent Skin Note, I find myself thinking about so many of my clients who have come to love our Sleeping Mask with Sea Buckthorn.
Many use it as a sleeping mask at night, while others have discovered that they enjoy using it as a moisturizer during the day as well. What has delighted me most is how consistently my clients tell me how much they enjoy the way their skin feels—nourished, supple, comfortable, and protected.
The rich, luxurious texture comes from a combination of skin-supporting lipids and nourishing ingredients. Sea buckthorn oil is one part of this comforting formula, alongside shea butter and other plant oils.
I also appreciate the garden cress sprout extract in the formula. To me, it is another example of choosing ingredients thoughtfully while keeping the skin’s comfort in mind.
I often think of this Sleeping Mask as a great mattress for the skin—a comfortable, protective layer that helps create a nourishing environment for your skin to rest while you sleep.
How I like to use it
After cleansing, apply the serum that is right for your skin. Follow with your moisturizer, and then apply a layer of the Sleeping Mask over it.
And yes, of course—don’t forget your eye cream!
The beauty of this mask is that there isn’t just one way to use it. Your skin may tell you when it needs a little more comfort, hydration, or protection. That is part of what makes skincare intelligent: learning to listen to your skin and respond to what it needs.
Until next time, enjoy your skin.
